This Privacy Policy explains how theAssetPro.com ("AssetPro", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the AssetPro website and the Assetpro Fuel mobile application (together, the "Services"). Assetpro Fuel is a business application provided to organizations that manage fleets and equipment on the AssetPro platform, and it requires a valid AssetPro account to use. By using the Services you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

When you sign in to Assetpro Fuel we process the login credentials and account identifier issued to you by your organization. This is used to authenticate you and to associate the records you create with your organization's account.

With your permission, the app captures your device's precise GPS location at the moment you take a fuel or meter photo, and stamps that location and time onto the photo for audit and record-verification purposes. Location is only captured in the foreground while you are actively using the app to capture a photo. The app does not track your location in the background and does not build a continuous location history. If you deny location access, or a fix is unavailable, the photo is stamped "Location unavailable" instead.

With your permission, the app uses your camera and/or photo library so you can capture or select images of fuel pumps, receipts, and equipment meters as evidence for the entries you record. Captured photos may be saved to your device and are uploaded to the AssetPro server as part of your organization's operational records.

The app records the operational data you submit, such as fuel quantities and costs, meter readings, the asset selected for each entry, and related notes. This data is synced to the AssetPro server so it is available to your organization.

To operate and secure the Services we may process basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and diagnostic logs generated during use.

We use the information described above to authenticate you, to record and sync fuel and meter entries to your organization's account, to geo-stamp captured photos for audit purposes, to keep operational records accurate and verifiable, to provide support, and to maintain the security and reliability of the Services. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

The records you create are made available to the organization whose AssetPro account you use. We may share information with service providers who host and support the platform on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to provide the Services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell your personal information.

Operational records and their associated photos are retained as part of your organization's account for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet your organization's record- keeping and legal obligations. Retention of your organization's data is governed by the agreement between AssetPro and your organization.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission between the app and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can control camera, photo, and location permissions at any time through your device settings; denying a permission may limit related features. Because Assetpro Fuel is provided through your organization, requests to access, correct, or delete your account data are handled together with your organization. The Services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
